Getting Caught up

Ok so here we are finnaly getting some realistic weather back... It's been way too cold for me or any other human for that matter. So here's the latest in the Bennecke home. Kids finally back to school after a five day crazy no school week. Cabin fever is an understatement for what we were experiencing here. Thank goodness my work is close enough that it didn't stop me from going.. ha ha Everyone else is doing good healthy, and have I mentioned BACK TO SCHOOL !!!!! The swearing in is also over so we can finally turn the tv on and not see that on every channel. Don't get me wrong I know its a big deal and all but really , did it have to be on EVERY channel, three times a day for what seemed like an eternity? Other than that its the same ol here and we are all just waiting for the spring thaw so I may finally remove the outside xmas decor that has seemed to freeze itself in the yard and on the roof. Yes that is right , while my smarter than I neighbors were removing theirs, I thought how silly they were because it was a little cold outside. Now who looks silly while valentines day decor adorns their doors and windows and across the street is the house that looks lost in time with reindeer, the drummer man, lights and the poor plastic ornaments hanging from the tree in the front yard. Well I guess I have rambled enough to catch you up on the latest here. Some pictures are here for you to see of the kids once it was warm enough to snow yet again and they could go out ond enjoy it.

Xmas a little late

Yes I know this is way late to be reading about but here it is anyway. Christmas was awesome. First with the family xmas party being is usual happy family time. Second as all you know watching your children open presents is always a blast Christmad Day. OK so i will be updating everyone to the present soon so that's it for xmas. Enjoy the pictures.

BASEBALL

Actually it can be any sport for which I am referring but anyway. Tis the current season and the White Sox are nearing the end. I know I probably just jinxed the game but the Bennecke men are in attendance tonight, last night too. I am exited for the team (and yes Rachelle the moods were felt here too ) which add on to your blog of how the smallest thing will affect our daily mood. There really is no point to my post today only to take up some free time I had to communicate. More pics will soon follow.

Getting Old

a little reality check for me . Last Saturday was Homecoming for Adam,simple enough right I have been thru 2 so far and nothing phases me. Something different this time, no it wasnt the girl, Adam and Karli went together , but looking at pics I took I realized my son wasn't my (son) any more . He was a young man.. as you will see in the pics to follow soon.It's not getting old that's an issue, actually there's not an issue at all . I just feel like any other parent ( I think) when they realize their first born is grown up and is soon going to fly the coop, break out of jail, flee , or whatever he wants to call it. Just sad , that's the only emotion word I can stir up , sad. Not depressed or alone or anything deep really . I just had a momemt of saddness. Now the other two are driving us crazy so that moment has long passed. But that is all for now the pictures ill be up soon for you to see my little man ( may he never see I wrote that ) tee hee.
